What owners ask before they sign.
Is the price final or does it go up?
Each tier is a starting price. If your project has extra pages, unusual integrations, or complex automations, we quote the added scope in writing before we start. You won't get a surprise invoice — ever. If the scope grows mid-project, we pause, confirm, and document the change.
Do I pay everything up front?
No. Standard terms are 50% to start, 50% at launch. Larger Systems projects break into 3 or 4 milestone payments tied to specific deliverables (design approval, build, integration, launch).
What is NOT included in the package price?
Premium third-party software you may choose to add: CRM seats, SMS credits, booking tool subscriptions, premium form services, and stock photo licenses. Hosting, domain management, and SSL are included — we manage them for you under your Care Plan.
Is there a monthly fee?
Yes — every website runs on a Care Plan: $49/mo Basic (hosting, monitoring, backups, security) or $99/mo Advanced (Basic + more frequent content changes and a monthly Google Business Profile post). You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Larger growth retainers for ongoing SEO, content, and automation work are optional.
What happens if I want to cancel mid-project?
Your content (text, images, logos) is always yours, and we refund unearned deposit portions pro-rated against completed work. This is written into every agreement.
I'm a brand-new business — is there something smaller to start with?
Yes — the Launch Kit ($399 one-time): we set up your Google Business Profile and your Meta accounts (Facebook + Instagram) properly — branded, linked, and ready to post — so customers can find you while you get going. Every dollar credits toward a website package if you upgrade within 6 months.
What happens if I ever want to leave?
No games: your domain name transfers to you at cost, and everything you gave us (content, images, logos) is yours. The site build itself stays with GoodLand while it's on a Care Plan — and if you'd rather take it with you, we offer a one-time buyout quoted up front. Most vendors won't even give you your domain back; we will.
Do you work with non-profits or very small businesses?
Yes. We occasionally take on small non-profits or family businesses at a reduced rate when there's a strong mission fit. Reach out and tell us about the project.
